Historic Apalachicola Home & Garden Tour

The Historic Apalachicola Home and Garden Tour returns Saturday, May 2, inviting visitors to explore some of the community’s most distinctive homes. A featured highlight is a residence redesigned by noted Modernist architect Hugh Newell Jacobsen, known for his work on a Martha’s Vineyard home for Jacqueline Kennedy Onassis.
Founded in 1992 by the women of Trinity Episcopal Church, the annual event celebrates Apalachicola’s architectural heritage while raising funds to preserve Trinity’s historic campus and support local outreach efforts. In addition to private home tours, guests may visit the City Square Community Garden, tour Trinity’s 1838 sanctuary with costumed docents, and view a special exhibit at Live Oak Gallery.
The weekend begins Friday, May 1, with a 6 p.m. Evensong service and reception. On Saturday, a public silent auction opens at 9 a.m. on the church grounds.
Advance tickets are $30; day-of-tour tickets are $35.
