The 2026 Summer Reading Program, “Unearth a Story,” unearths another fun week, July 12-18, at the Franklin County Public Libraries with a variety of free activities for all ages. The week’s programs will explore stories, science, history, and creativity through interactive experiences inspired by archaeology, dinosaurs, fossils, ancient civilizations, earth science, and America 250. Designed to spark curiosity, inspire exploration, promote literacy, and encourage community engagement, all programs are open to the public and no library card is required.
Friday, July 17 – Jurassic Trail at the Eastpoint Branch at 1 PM. Participants will enjoy a dinosaur-themed activity adventure featuring games, exploration stations, and interactive prehistoric fun.
